Ultimate Warriors: Martial Classes for PF1 and DnD 5E

Delay on Release of Sword and Fist

Hi all,

A little bit of bad news to report in that I just spoke with the layout artist on Legendary Classes: Sword and Fist, and evidently there was a communication breakdown earlier. While they have all of the text and artwork and had promised completion within "about a week" when we launched nearly two weeks ago, issues arose related to their day job and they have in fact not completed layout. We've thus added the following text to the Kickstarter page. 

[August 17 Update]: All PDFs for this Kickstarter will be immediately available *except* for Legendary Classes: Sword and Fist. Layout just reported a day job-related delay in completion. It will be released a few days after the Kickstarter ends with all text but limited art placement. The final PDF with all artwork will release the following week.

We'll be sending out all other PDFs Friday night (including all the 5E PDFs and all other PDF add-ons), and what we also can do in the meantime is send out a PDF bundle for our Pathfinder backers including Legendary Barbarians, Legendary Brawlers, Legendary Cavaliers, Legendary Fighters, Legendary Gunslingers, Legendary Monks, Legendary Monks II, Legendary Samurai, and Legendary Swashbucklers, the original PDFs that were combined and revised to create Legendary Classes: Sword and Fist. You'll still get all of the rules content in the big compilation book; we'll just have to wait a little longer than expected to send out the single-file compendium with new artwork and revisions. 

This is the first time we've had a delay on getting out PDFs for a Quickstarter, so apologies for slight delay for those of you getting that book. We hope you love all the killer content coming your way this Friday and beyond!

Hi all,

We are swinging into the final days of the Ultimate Warrior project and are happy to have the huge honor of recognizing Hubert H. as backer #400, with our extremely enthusiastic eppreciation [just go with it] yet egregiously eeee... well, e-late [ran out of alliteration] salute toe Eric C. as backer #300! We are so delighted that each of you have chosen to support this project and hope you can continue to share the good news to your fellow 5E fans and Pathfinder players! 

We are looking forward to a fantastic finish, and have a few quick notes to pass along:

1.  We're starting work on the Backerkit survey for this project soon so that we can get everyone's information and provide the opportunity to pick up any items you might have missed along the way! Once you receive it (usually about 1-2 weeks after the KS ends), please reply ASAP! 

2.  One of the things that we've had a request for is a deluxe edition of Legendary Classes: Sword and Fist. We haven't usually offered those premium print-on-demand editions because the unit cost is rather high, but we're interested to see how many might be game for that version of the book. Let us know in the comments below if you're interested and we'll see if we can add that to the project as an option in the Backerkit survey (or even mayyybe a very late pledge). 

3.  Our next QUICK-starter is already on approach! We are most of the way done with creating the Kickstarter page for Asian Monsters, with the 5E and Pathfinder RPG versions already done and the Pathfinder 2E version layout about to begin! We are delighted to bring over 90 awesome Asian monsters from India to the Philippines, China to Malaysia, Korea to Vietnam, and more! We'll have the Kickstarter preview link up and ready for you soon to sign up to be notified when it goes live!

We are excited to see the quick response of folks jumping on board, with Ksan pushing us over our base funding goal and we're now past 10 times that! We also want to give a special shout-out to Troy J (backer #100) and James A (backer #200)! We are looking forward to keeping up the momentum and ask for your help in spreading the word to your friends and fellow players. Keep an eye on the LG Facebook page and Twitter feed and please like, share, or better still offer up a comment or question to help propagate those messages so other folks can see them. We do our best to get the word out to everyone, but any little bit you can offer helps build visibility and interest in the great stuff we've got coming your way!
